8 Modular Units totaling 5,300 s.f. medical space housing the most advanced Siemens MRI and CT diagnostic equipment.
The facility was fully operational and accepting patients in only four months after work started.
The modular components were custom fabricated off-site and trucked over-the-road to the site where they were off-loaded and set in place using a 550-ton crane.
Each unit was specially constructed utilizing a heavy tube steel skeleton with concrete floors and a steel roof deck to hold up to the extreme loading associated with shipping and handling as well as the weight of the new medical equipment.
Special features included copper RF shielding for the MRI, lead shielding for the CT, complete emergency generator backup power, medical gases, and redundant cooling systems.
Maintained a safe site throughout construction with no injuries or incidents.
